Welcome to the 2012 Shamrock Tournament - Program Letter
On behalf of the Holy Trinity School Community, we want to extend to you a warm welcome to this 2012 Shamrock Tournament. We are excited to carry on the tradition of this event that has a history dating back 49 years. This weekend provides an excellent opportunity for us to join together in Christian fellowship and to enjoy a weekend of healthy and fun physical activity. To all the Athletes, we wish you the best of luck. Your hard work and determination have brought you this far. Please remember that your sportsmanship and openness to all is appreciated and will bring honor to yourself and to your school. To the Coaches, we say thank you for your tremendous dedication to these fine young men and women. Your example and your guidance have taught them not only the technical skills that they possess but also the intangible skills such as sportsmanship and healthy competitiveness, which will aid them throughout their lives. To the Parents, we commend you for the commitment you have made to this program. Without your dedication, we could not have such fine programs in our schools. Finally to the Spectators, we invite you to enjoy the games and the young people who will participate this weekend. You are important to us because you offer the moral support so necessary to keep us going. Please support the players and the coaches as they strive for excellence both on the court and in their effort for good sportsmanship. As we come together this weekend during games, dances, meals and especially during Mass, please remember that we become a great example of God’s Community coming together to develop a feeling of unity among the participating schools. We are proud to have you with us!
